How many weeks are in a year here?
52. Monthly pay is yearly ÷ 12, biweekly is yearly ÷ 26. That is the usual US/UK payroll convention and ignores extra leap-day hours.
What about unpaid leave?
The conversion assumes you work the stated hours every week of the year. If you have unpaid weeks, lower hours-per-week or use yearly pay as the source.
