How long should a password be?
Longer is generally better. Sixteen characters with mixed character sets is a solid default for most accounts. Use the length control to go higher when a site allows it.
What makes a password strong?
Randomness, length, and a wide character set. Prefer passwords from a secure generator over personal words or patterns. Avoid reusing the same password across sites.
Can I generate a passphrase?
Yes. Switch to Passphrase mode, choose how many words and a separator, then generate. Passphrases can be easier to type while still being hard to guess when the words are chosen randomly.
